where to find stock market historical data.

I am looking for some historical data over the net, and cant find in a reasonable price. I would like someone to look better then me, and find me a place where I can get this data for up to 1000USD. I know Yahoo and Google offer some of what I want, but not good enough. please read carefully what needed and let me know if you can find it - indexes with daily and monthly closing prices. I need these as total returns(including dividends) I need them from at least 1973 but if you can get me data from before its better. The indexes are: S&P500 MSCI EAFE 10 year US Government bonds 1 year US Government bonds 30 year US Government bonds 3 Month US Government bonds GSCI total return (commodity index) NAREIT - US Gold iShares S&P Europe 350 Index iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund iShares MSCI Pacific Ex-Japan as I wrote, I do not look to get this data for free (I know it cost money), but I need a place which can give me this data up to 1000 USD per year (if needed). waiting for your offers Haim

Hello there. I understand exactly what you require. You are looking for historical data with regards to various indexes and wondering where to start because historical data is hard to keep track of. I have worked in Financial Research houses in the United States. I understand exactly where you can find this data i.e. if it exists at all. In some cases even certain financial powerhouses won't be able to dig into very old financial data. What is available will have to be paid though because a lot of people have done a lot of thorough research which is not available for free. Looking forward to hearing from you in this regard.
