I have also tried the CF 9 native file-support for Amazon S3 using the "s3://" protocol. My work also involved the Amazon S3 REST API using ColdFusion's CFHttp functionality. I have written code to creating proxy objects etc. connecting to the eBay web service and troubleshooted issues with the jRun server.
