Subject Title & First Line, are 80% of your problem.
What do I mean?
The reader MUST be captivated by your subject title. I use Suspicion, or the ‘WTF’ factor. (Hint: see the heading of this proposal).
Next, then you must be VAGUE with the first line of text (otherwise why would they read on). After this you can tone it down and start to reveal more about your offer, as subconsciously the prospect has ‘committed’ to keep reading as they’ve invested up front.
