Hi there.
We are Celine and Eddy. From France and Canada, we got this crazy dream to invest our retirement plan into a land to create magic!
We just bought a 600m2 land on the island of Koh Phangan, Thaïland. (30mx20m)
We are looking to build small rental vacation houses on the land.
We are hoping to put 6 of them to be profitable, otherwise 5...(probably 6mx6m for the house), with a swimming pool in the middle.
(FYI, we have other owners on each side of our land)
On the North-East exposure there are beautiful mountains that we want all houses to face... (See pics) so the windows must look in that direction some how..
The entrance of the land will be the South side where we will have a small parking for scooters.
The requirements for each home:
We want each home to have double windows on 2 sides (angles), with one large covered balcony, and a flat roof top accessible from outside stairs.
The main material of the house will be pure concrete (easier to work and cheaper here in Thailand).
Ex: The bed will be put on a concrete platform and we could do a bench with concrete too, and the kitchen counter too...
Bathroom: here it is just a sink, a toilets and an Italian shower style. Doesn't have to be huge... But at least well thought.
The kitchen, we want basic too: a sink, one burner, small counter, fridge.
The above is like the basic that we want .. of course you can add anything that would make sense, create something special, different, practical, comfortable and lovely.
Bedroom.. we can imagine it in a mezzanine, or same floor plan but closed or at least a small separation.. like the sleeping space...
We know it's a small place to do a cozy home. That's why we need smart design and with light and original ;)
We want people to feel happy and relax in our homes, we want them to feel privacy even though other houses are close.
