The following are the main requirements of the Accounting software : •General Ledger •Fixed Assets Management Module •Accounts Receivable Module Monthly customer statements account Schedule account receivable costing each account and its balance Aging accounts receivable reports (for students employees and others) •Accounts Payable Module Creditors Statement of Account Accounts payable schedule for each account and its balance Daily checks Daily Disbursements •Pay roll Module Employee personal data Assignments such as type of contract or employment classification. Salary deduction such as absence, overtime records, housing allowance and others, pension related deductions such as NSSF and insurance premiums. Maximum amount allowance in given payments such as overtime. Special arrangements such as Part time Lecturers remuneration system. •Budgetary Planning and Control Module Budget allocation compared with year to date income and expenditure Budget variance of differences between projected amounts and actual costs.
