I expect the transcription to take an hour or two, and then will step away before returning to do a second edit. I would love the opportunity to transcribe and edit this audio for you. My suggested process is that I do the transcription, edit (with tracked changes) and send on to you. I will point out any wording I am unclear on, or words I am unsure about. You can then revise and return for a final edit and revert from me. I am offering the lowest rate in your range as the rate of exchange (here in the Republic) makes this viable for me, and cost-effective for you. Hi, Matt here, a former technical writer, and can help you. Your podcast is nearly transcribed now (using my dictation software) yet requires manual word by word editing and grammar&spelling work. Still you can have the transcription in two days (because I have one other active project to be completed by tomorrow). How would you like to have changes tracked (e.g. from the original transcription, removing umms and other filler words, correcting the grammar)? Using Word changes feature? The document would be created with Word 2011 for Mac, fully compatible with Word 2010 for Windows and newer versions (.docx format). Finally - based on your desired skills - I presume you require the US English version of the text. Looking forward to your reply, Matt P.S.
