using react native as a mobile application technologies will be very cost effective because with same js code. You can run your application on both ios and android. php(with any framework i.e. Codeigniter, Laravel) as a backend technology can be cheaper and faster. Just have to use the api integrated to your mobile app. There are also mobile application technologies like ionic and phonegap but you will not find native feels ,these technologies wrap the js code into native environment and your application will not withstand good traffic while react native will create the native application from the js.
