Submit Sociological Portrait . The goal of the final Sociological Portrait is to describe yourself using the sociological imagination. Describe yourself sociologically. Focus should be on aspects of socialization, culture, social hierarchies, status and roles, groups, social class, gender, race and ethnicity, and the social institutions (such as work, family, and education). Your Sociological Portrait should include at least seven sociological concepts that are applied in the proper context. Some extra topics that can be added: Consider the concept of symbolic boundaries—specifically related to socioeconomic status—and how they are intertwined in your world. Analyze the symbolic boundaries in your social world. Detail a few of them that you are willing to share with the class and how they impact your life.
