Data Conversion in Excel

We need to reconstruct large amount of data in Excel. We have about 60 files with 20 tabs each. From each tab we need to make one entry in the output Excel sheet, i.e. we need to make a sheet with about 1200 rows at the end. The information for the columns is scattered within each tab. Although it is not always in a fixed cell for every tab, there are pointers that say where the needed info is.
