Project requires one year of software maintenance like implementing some small changes, correcting some bugs. The program is part of a larger program (it is a subset of a larger systems program), contains 50,000 lines of ADA code on unix machines, is unfortunately not documented at all (or very little) is actually quite complex and confusing since the original designers have long left. I would like an idea of how long it would take and at what price to reverse engineer the program to understand what it does completely so as to then be able to correct-modify it. I would prefer to use Linux if possible. I shall be happy to analyse and improve the 83 as well as 95 code. I can understand other people's code but not vice-versa. If you wish, I can comment it for 9 cents a line extra. I am also willing to apply to DoD for approval. I am into commercial programming since 1987. If you have time, please look at my resume. It is not mentioned if the existing code is in good condition or needs to be fixed first and what is the MTBF. I hope too much work is not needed for that aspect
