Responsible for the design and implementation of the Mission Management software, controller of the Mission System ( see [login to view URL] )
of the neuest Tactical Helicopter NH90. It will be the most advanced helicopter in terms of tactical and mission capabilities where my software plays the most critical rule.
Examples of developed navigation functions are the Route Guidance, Pattern Guidance, Course From, Course To, Mark On Target. These functions interact with the crew and their inputs in several devices like the Automatic Flight Control System, and use the IRS (Inertial Reference System) to automatically or manually guide the helicopter according to their inputs. Some of the automatic guidance functions like the Mark on Target and the transition down sub-function from the Route guidance are critical 3D guidance modes.
I also did develop flight plan management functions like Edit Routes, and On Top database. These functions allow the crew to manipulate the 'mission data' during the flight, and they communicate with devices like the DKU, MFD, and DMG (Digital Map)
