chess site redevelopment

Hi, phpChess needs a face lift. It is the website, but I would like to get things in line with the playing website. So currently [login to view URL] looks like this: [[login to view URL]][1] But I need [login to view URL] to look a bit more like this (from a colour scheme): <[login to view URL]>? However I need the site to function more like this (clarity is key): [[login to view URL]][2] or <[login to view URL]> total work is to rebuild the site (all areas...see details) and make it as web2.0 and yahoo/google optimized as possible. it needs to be very good! I need to see some sample work so I can decide if you can do this right. I would like it to stick for the next 2 years. Having said that, every idea and noval way to look at this would be welcome.
