I am building a Google map application which when the user submits the address crunch is the address in Java script and then tells the user whether or not their address fits a certain criteria or not. The core logic for the site is in JavaScript and it is JavaScript that crunches the address and computes the criteria for that address. I want to build an API so that other websites may submit an address from their website the external website to my site. I am confident that I can write an API which would collect address information and submit it to my site from an external site. However the actual computation performed on the address is done in JavaScript and it is unclear to me if this means the API I want to write will be able to use the JavaScript algorithms to calculate criteria on the address and then send the resulting criteria back to the external site. I feel confident that if all the numbercrunching was done in PHP that I would not be asking this question but since the address gets computed at my site in JavaScript is it possible that an API can be written that would collect the address from the external site, sending address to my site, my site then crunches the address in JavaScript, and then returns the resulting computations to the external site.? I am worried that the JavaScript aspect of this API is not possible. I am looking for an expert who can author the API or more importantly tell me if it is even possible. Thank you, sincerely, T
