CD-ROM Menu Redesign

We have recently redesigned our CD-ROM cover and CD-ROM face. The new design now reflects our professional image as a training organisation of project management, programme management and service management courses. The current menu system, uses AutoPlay Menu Builder 5.1 http://www.linasoft.com. The current CD-ROM combines the use of existing Flash files (Flash Player 7.0+) created in Respondus Studymate [login to view URL] and Crosswords created in Eclipse Crossword [login to view URL] as Javascript html files (an alternative Java applet export option also available). In addition there are links to files (i.e. word, RTF, PDF, XLS etc.) stored on the CD-ROM. There are 3 levels of menu: the Main menu, the Course Preparation topic menu (includes 20 topics) and a menu per topic which includes 4 headings linked to a crossword (Javascript), multi choice (Flash) and challenge questions (Flash). The existing Flash objects and Javascript multi choice objects require Flash 'wrappers' to integrate them into the menu application. The following work is required: 1. Main menu required to be redesigned (8 headings). 2. Course Preparation topic menu to be redesigned (20 topics listed under 4 headings). 3. Topic menus - each following the same menu template with the same headings. 4. A 'wrapper' for an HTML Javascript crossword (one per topic). 5. A 'wrapper' for existing Flash files (one per topic), the Glossary and Flash cards quiz. 6. A menu to create - a menu of project management templates. There are a number of short-falls to be addressed by this project: 1. The current menu does not match the cover design. 2. When opening the StudyMate Flash files they open a separate web browser window. 3. There is a requirement to have Flash Player version 7 to run the existing Flash files. 4. An html file must be opened to use the crosswords (requiring a Javascript enabled browser to be installed). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform CD-ROM, Windows 95/Me/XP/Vista
