Demo Application

I am in an information/data business that has a need for a demo application. I would like front-end built with Java and back-end using SQL. The front-end will have a query page where user will be able to select from drop down menu or enter specific data for 7-10 variables. The query page will act largely as a funnel to customize the data search. Once they have made their selections, they will hit a RUN button and the output will come out in 1-2 pre-formatted reports, which will appear on screen as well as downloadable to an Excel spreadsheet. We will keep the number of records in the database to several hundred so this will not be a major constraint. I have attached a spreadsheet which will give you an idea of how the query page might look as well as a report page also I am looking for quick and dirty as I have a short turnaround time. I am hoping that the project can be coded in one week. I will make myself available to answer any questions and provide feedback in a timely manner as this is a top priority. This demo will be critical in pre-selling my service before the full application is completed. I will eventually have a need for an application to be built so I also see this as an opportunity to evaluate the quality of your work. There will also be a calculation required based on the lending terms provided. There is a model that has been created already so it is simply a matter of plugging numbers into a formula. Please provide any similar examples that you have worked on recently. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
