Date Availability Checker

**OVERVIEW:** This project is very simple and someone may already have one on file needing minimal adaptation. I am looking for a simple form based Date Availability Checker for a webpage. I have no MySQL skills, so it needs to be a simple self-generating database (flat?). I can create online email forms and have sent up autoresponder software in my cgi-bin along with external admin software, so I can change/update scripts provided I have good instructions. ## Deliverables **REQUIREMENT:** Selectable dropdown menus with DAY, MONTH and YEAR and a CHECK AVAILABILITY submit button on a webpage - NOT a calendar. The ability within the design to create some form of alternative webpage layouts using the boxes will be required for personalisation into different website pages. Alternatively, I am happy to create a form page and use form objects, for which I would then need the necessary links/coding in order to ensure it functions. After submitting it would then need to check for date availability, (admin use for updating booked dates would solely be limited to myself), and the enquirer then redirected to either: (a) an I'M SORRY - I'M BOOKED page if the date is booked, or (b) an online form to take an enquiry. Both of the latter webpages will be created externally, so a generic alterable "Name" location will be required within the script for both of these. No doubt someone out there will most probably already have what I need as I understand it is quite a simple script to create. If at all possible I would like to check it out on a demo page to ensure it is what I require. Alternatively, I can provide various webpage addresses already using something similar for you to refer to for guidance if not too sure of my needs. Please let me know and I'll send a link. I would also be interested to know if it is at all possible to make an executable version that will automatically install this software which would make my life simpler! (I'm not too sure if this could even really be automated.) **DELIVERABLES:** 1) Complete and fully-functional working program as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in a ready-to-run or install condition other than perhaps any permission requirements necessary to effect after uploading. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform **PLATFORMS & SOFTWARE: **All PC based - Windows 98/2000/NT/XP All HTML software for webpage creation. Linux server. (If it will work on all types that would be great!) All versions of Explorer and Netscape.
