We are developing a website for a customer and have most of the front end complete. We are now needing to set up a configurator which will allow a user to go through pick what they want and then click save it either takes them to a login screen or if they are already logged in it will save the config to a database. We alot of data that is being linked to the configurator. There will be 5 sections of this site as described:
1 - Configurator:
Able to go through a configurator page and choose options this will then save the layout in the database to be viewed later on.
Example Link: [
][1]There will be no pricing displayed just options.
2- Lead:
This user will only be able to view there saved configurations. Nothing else.
3-Customer:
This is after the user has commited to buying. They will be able to save/view future configurations. Along with being able to view invoices, purchase orders, drawings, pricing basicly anything that is related to the order.
4- Manager:
This user will be able to view customers/leads configurations and edit them as needed. They will be able to see pricing and edit pricing per order to customize the customers order completely. They will be able to upload drawings to a customers account for them to be able to view. They will be able to create invoices/purchase orders and a few other print outs and save them to the db for the customer to view when they log in.
5- Admin:
This user will be able to add/delete/update records in the database. add/delete users of any level.
All the data is already inserted to the database. This is my first project to put on rent a coder so not sure what to expect out of it. If there are any questions please feel free to ask!
