add pause button and linking ability to javascript slider

I have a rotater/slider that is on a site and we need to add 3 functions to it. This uses jquery and css to make it work. i need the 3 following things done. 1. add a pause and play button to the sldier 2. make it so i can have clickable area in the images in the slider 3. have it so when you mouse over the left side wording it pauses the slider Please talk in PMB.
