I have a very basic log in page at [login to view URL] that uses Login by Amazon to get user credentials and then maintains those using AWS Cognito.
I would like to get working 2 things on this page:
a) The User-ID feature of google analytics - essentially this function
ga('set', 'UA-31083-9', { 'userId': [login to view URL] }).
The user id that should be used for google analytics is the [login to view URL]
b) when you refresh the page it doesn't know that you are logged in. and brings back up the login details. I think what should happen is when the page loads it should check if the user is already logged in.
What I would like to have working .... user logs in with Login by Amazon, get AWS cognito ID back from AWS, uses that to record with google analytics, page looks a little different because user is logged in, users refreshes the page, page still knows the user is logged in, user logs out.
Right now all that is working except for the "uses that to record with google analytics" and "users refreshes the page, page still knows the user is logged in".
Hi. This task sounds very easy for me. But still i just want to clarify b option.
You want that after refresh page login information is reset? if so does it mean you have single page in your home page? Maybe you can attach some screenshots, how it is at the moment.
