I'm in need of a detailed 3D CAD model for the development of a prototype. My product idea is a high-quality plastic container with hinges, designed in a rectangular shape. The container should have strong magnets on one of the longer sides that can enable it to attach to a metal surface such as the outside of a car. Hinges should be located on one of the shorter top sides of the container, and latching mechanism on the other short side so that the box can be opened even when the longer side is sitting against the surface it is magnetically attached to. Contact me for more detailed description and any drawings of concept you may need. - Purpose: Your task will focus on visualizing the product's design, thereby aiding in the prototype development process. - Product Type: The aim is a sturdy, durable plastic storage container that can withstand extensive use. - Dimensions and Shape: It's integral for the 3D model to emulate a rectangular shape. Outer dimensions should be close to: 10 inches in height, 8 inches in length and 4 inches in width, not including the lid. Inner dimensions will account for a sturdy wall structure but there should not be less than 250 cubic inches of interior space inside the container. Ideal candidates will have experience in plastic and/or silicone material design, prototyping, and CAD design software. Proficiency in container product design would be an added advantage. Knowledge of manufacturing processes is optional, but beneficial for this project. Your expertise will be crucial in confirming this product's feasibility and function.
