I created an application that connects to an Access DB and logs transactions. Occasionally I retreive the error below when I try To Increment My TicketCOunter Database.
[login to view URL]: Concurrency violation: the UpdateCommand affected 0 of the expected 1 records.
at [login to view URL](RowUpdatedEventArgs rowUpdatedEvent, BatchCommandInfo[] batchCommands, Int32 commandCount
at [login to view URL](RowUpdatedEventArgs rowUpdatedEvent, BatchCommandInfo[] batchCommands, Int32 commandCount)
at [login to view URL](DataRow[] dataRows, DataTableMapping tableMapping)
at [login to view URL](DataTable dataTable, DataTableMapping tableMapping)
at [login to view URL](DataSet dataSet, String srcTable)
at Test.MainForm.Increment_Access_DB_TicketCounter_New(Boolean Display_Current_Ticket_Number_Only, Boolean Increment_Ticket_Counter_DB)
I have attached a Visual Studio 2008 Visual Basic project as well as a sample database. The VS2008 project has detailed comments on what I would like the WinForms application to accomplish.
I need this application to connect to an access Database and search for a record that matches The Year Combobox, if a record was found then the app will either increment the TicketCounter by one or display the TicketCounter in The Label
If the record was not found then A new record will be added with the CurrentYear being the value of the [login to view URL] and The TicketNumber being 1
There Will be anywhere between 1 to 5 computers accessing/modifying the TicketCounter DB at any one time.
Please use the application setting to connect to the access DB...
Project Must Be Done In VisualBasic and be well documented...
Thanks?
