We are a new Virtual Reality based business which is looking for talented 3D animators to create content for the amazing new medium of VR. We are a company formed by veteran entrepreneurs of the mobile technology industry who are extremely passionate about VR, and our goal is to create a large library of immersive virtual reality content and a distribution platform for that content. Right now we are actively looking for two types of animated content to adapt to the VR medium: Animated Short Films: Essentially you would have to adapt your existing animated short(s) to be VR-ready, and we pay $2,000 upfront plus $.01 any time somebody watches the content which will be available for free in our app across all VR platforms. Only 3D, high-resolution short films can be adapted well typically -- 2D or low-poly is tough. Animated Short Experiences: These are ultra-short (~1 - 2 mins) 3D animated experiences which can adapt well to VR. Think simple but immersive 3D animation experiences such as having the user float through a cool 3D animated landscape, or tag along with a frog in a rainforest, or have the user in a dark room building suspense and then a monster attacks briefly. These don't require a full story / trajectory, and can even be based on a single scene / environment which you guide the user through. For these, we pay anywhere from $100 - $500 per work upfront and $.01 per 10 views. If you're interesting in learning more please contact us today ! Principals only.
