Once you know this then you can evaluate the number of tuners you need. Once you know the number of tuners you have to buy DVB-S2 to IP PCI Card you you purchase the gateway with the corresponding number of tuners. Once this is done you will get the streams from satelitte but it would be in a format you cannot play on the internet. You will need to transcode it. Once tanscoded you push it to your streaming server probably Wowza which is one of the best. And you also play it using a good HLS/RTMP Player. Actually you need what is called DVB-IPTV gateway. It consists of hardware and software. Hardware: server + number of PCI DVB-cards installed (there are 2- and even 4-channel card on the market). Total number of DVB channels of all cards is number of independent IPTV channels in IP traffic expected. Hi. to have satellite isn't enough... You need or hardware or software, but each channel is 1mid range computer or server. Your problem: you can get live streaming converted to m3u8 be done with wowza. But it only creates 1 stream. so 2mbps stream - 1 server can handle up to 50 channels + distribution problem - all content deliver to X...
