Reliability for early engineering design

Literature Review on a reliability engineering, system or maintenance management topic. You must carry out a literature review of the assigned reliability engineering, system or maintenance management topic, including the latest developments in the area and discussion of practical implications of these. You will have to describe the topic area and outline current standards as well as provide a critique of at least one published research paper on an aspect of the topic area discussing implications for industry and quality of the analysis reported in the research paper. Title page: Choose a title that appropriately describes the written report. Include name and student registration number. • Part 1 Literature Review (should be maximum of 5 pages or 2,000 words) - Introduction: Include discussion of why the topic is important and contemporary. - Background and Significance: Outline the topic area including where it is important and what benefits it can bring to companies. Include a brief introduction to the specific issue(s) that the research paper(s) address. - Discussion: Critically discuss the methods used, findings and implications presented in the research paper(s). - Conclusions: Conclude on what the benefits are of topic area and potential of the specific issues addressed by the research paper(s). - References - Harvard style
