I was looking for suggestions to go with go daddy of if you know of a better provider...
I would host several sites off this server but the one of concern will have multiple video files, starting with 40, that are up to 2GB in size... I am looking for some one that is good with file convershion that could help me trim off some of the fat but still hold the quality of the videos... The videos will be streaming and I expect 200 video viewings in the first month and then increasing by 30% each month after...
I need some one who knows this already and not learning... I will expect frequent updates and job completion in a reasonable time...
I can provide you with a server that will have the speed and bandwidth you need to handly streaming. These would be windows based servers so you have access to all ways of streaming inclunding windows media (u cant get this on linux/unix) - $199 mo/ dedicated. I am based in the USA and offer support via IM, Live Chat and Telephone.
I agree with a previous comment about layeredtech. My experience with GoDaddy is that they are alright until you need them to actually do something. Another good one is iweb.
As for the admin and video work I have experience with both and I can take care of this and provide detailed step by step reports as the project proceeds (actual timeline may vary once the full details of the project are disclosed.
