I need another small java applet quickly.
All it needs to do is determine the client's LAN/local ip address and pass it to a javascript callback function in the page. Should be quick and easy.

Some explanation.
Client has ip address of [login to view URL] and connects to server via a proxy 172.16.16.10.
The server sees the request coming from [login to view URL] not [login to view URL]
We need a piece of java that can figure out the real client address (eg [login to view URL]) and pass it to javascript in the page.

Please don't tell me it can/should be done server side, I know how to do this server side - we need a client side solution for a specific project.
see [login to view URL] post #3 for java code that can do this.
