My project is based on online privacy and the Big 5 Factor Model of personality type traits. I have 103 respondents from a survey and I have divided them into their most dominant personality type (including those who have no dominant personality type). The rest of the survey questions have their own categories: Action, Behaviour, Perception, and Knowledge. These questions have either a yes or no type answer or a 5 point Likert scale. I have organised this data and worked out the percentages for each question. For Age Range, Gender, Occupation, Level of Education I have found the mean and standard deviation of the population. I must work out the percentages for the whole population of my data for each of the categories and then look at the percentage differences when using the Big 5 Factor Model of personality type traits. To my understanding so far, I will need to do T scores and standard deviations on all questions to see how each of the dominant (and no dominant) personality type traits correlate with the aforementioned categories. I'm not at all good with statistics, and this could probably be done through excel or SPSS, all of which I have access to. But I'm none the wiser on even how to work out T scores, let alone the formulas to use in these applications. Please do let me know what you think. Many thanks Lou
