Twilio and AWS Lambda: Simple Call Forwarding

I'm looking to build an application I can use as a fallback mechanism when my main phone system is down. The system would have a table of my Twilio numbers and the mobile cell phones that they should be forwarded to in the event my phone system is unreachable. It will also contain an email address associated with each number that will be used in sending any voicemails captured. Given this is only for the times my main server is down, I'd like to be as cheap as possible in running this. It will only be very lightly used. I'd like to use: - Aurora Serverless Database - Python-based Lambda functions to handle the actual routing - AWS Simple Email Service for Voicemail Attachments The flow as I see it: 1. Call comes in to 789-789-1212 2. Database lookup is done to get forwarding number for 789-789-1212 (assume its 123-123-1212) and the email address associated with the number (assume its "tom@[login to view URL]) 3. Call is forwarded to 123-123-1212. 4. If there is no answer after four rings, play a generic "the person is unavailable at the moment. please leave a message" 5. record message 6. send message to tom@[login to view URL] with subject line "missed call from 789-789-1212" 7. include the voicemail in the attachment I am open to different architectural recommendations based on my requirements. I'm willing to pay a premium for expert level work to get this done quickly. There are a handful of open source packages that do things very similar - its likely one could be used to help accelerate our work.
