Edit and Proof-read a Novel -- 2

Hi there, I believe I would make a great candidate for editing and proofing your novel. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2013 with an English degree with an intent on editing. I worked at my local newspaper for four years as its proofreader. While working there my duties included reading and proofing all national and locally written articles that were put into that day's newspaper, all while under a deadline. Other editing and proofing experiences I have include: six novels, two have been published, three children's books, all have been published, one how-to photography book, six short stories, one which is being turned into a script, four business proposals, four years' worth of newspaper inserts called Primetimes, several articles for the newspaper The Compass, and I've written dozens of articles for the newspaper I worked at, all were published. I have a keen eye for small grammar and spelling details. I like to read the manuscript or project at least three times so I do not miss any mistakes. I am able to do these things efficiently and properly and still can reach deadline on time.

Hello, I'm a Ph.D. historian, so I have ample experience in text editing, etc. However, I'd make a few suggestions: - you won't get a decent editor for 250 000 characters , especially if half of it should be rewritten - I'd suggest to create an hourly job for the successful FL, as this book would need at least 15-20 hours of work. - other chatter app. can be used as a substitute?
