Section 2: Identification and Discussion of Management concepts using P-O-L-C framework. (Max 5 Pages, double space) Using a Management Concepts lens, the students should identify and discuss following management concepts and functions applicable to the selected company: • Management environment and landscape • Strategy • Organizational Culture • Organization Structure (Identify your company’s organization structure; describe how organization use this structure, is it used in combinatory of other; discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the structure used). • Organization design • Employee engagement and motivation • Leadership • Communications • Teams • Performance Management • Operations Section 3: Reflection (Max. 1 page, double space) This section is mainly your analysis of the selected company focusing on the effective management of organization. • What interest you about the company? (Hint- discuss any concept/function discussed in the above section). • Have you worked in this organization? If so, describe your experience. Be as specific as possible. • If you are not working in this organization, do you think you would prefer to work and why? • Given a choice, what will you like to change in the company and why? (Hint- Environment, leadership, structure, employee engagement, decision-making, etc.). Paper Guidelines: • Discuss at least 5-7 management concepts listed in the section 2 in your paper.
