C# script to display XML data in Unity 3D / 2D

The Challenge From an XML file, information should be read and presented in a Unity 2D scene. Via an input box, the user should type in which readout should be presented – the XML file will contain info for certain keywords and thus, additional info about this keyword should be displayed. The code must be written in C# and Unity version should be higher than 5.2.1. The code must be commented to enable following the scripts. Only basic Unity layouting required. An XML file template will be provided upon start of project. The Example An XML file containing a list of alphabetical sorted city names should be displayed in Unity. For each city, additional info such as number of inhabitants and country is included in the XML file. Subsequently, via a search mask, a certain city should be shown and selectable. Then, the additional city info should be displayed (e.g. upon entering L O N, London is shown and upon selection, more details about the city are shown in a Unity scene). If more than 1 hit upon entering characters is available in the XML file, all potential hits should show up (e.g. entering L could lead to display Lahore, Lisbon and London). Length of input (L O N…) must be limited to 6 characters. Upon entering a no-result, this should be displayed as well. After having selected a distinct city-info, a back-button should be available to return to selection scene. Next to using a search mask, the list of cities should be scrollable (and selectable) to enable the user to view all XML city entries.
