Reduce TTFB of Our Magento WebStore Which Is Linked To Two Domains

Please read all description before bidding! Our Magento webstore is linked to two domains [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] and we cannot break the linking of the two domains / website so all solutions should make sure the link doesn't break. Over past 3 months the speed of website compiltation has gone down quite a lot resulting in 14 seconds Time To First Byte of TTFB. We check the speeds using GTMetrix and are looking for a developer who can help us achieve sub-6 seconds load times for both [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] Here is what our host says about the issue: We had found over 8500 queries running on Page load. This seems a bit excessive, and at least, accounts for 4 seconds of the TTFB. The remainder appears to be theme related, however after trying for quite some time, we can't get the Magento provide us with the graph information to detail what is causing the hold up. (This is likely a theme limitation) We strongly recommend enabling Magento profiler, your developer should be familiar with implementing Magento compiler into your theme so that it shows the required data. Magento profiler will show exactly where the the issue is, and may even highlight a query that may be taking a long time due to large tables.
