Magento Checkout Emails not being sent + Wordpress Background Plugin not clickable.

I have 2 sites that need 1 issue on each site address. #1 Magento site orders are placed and processed on dashboard, but no emails are being sent? #2 I have a wordpress background image plugin that fills the background, but it is not clicking??? Imperative that it clicks to another page for advertising reasons. so either you get the plugin working or implant an [login to view URL] and .html file to manually upload images. Have all credentials for both. Looks both fairly quick and easy work.
