Create PHP script to submit web form to CRM system

Create a script that will submit two forms to Brightdoor CRM. The forms are on Wordpress. We used Gravity Form plugin to generate the forms, and currently have a processing script in place that DOES work, but we need improvements. Both forms are short; one is only 3 fields (a popup) and the main form is only 4 fields. We have the default Gravity Form honeypot in place, but it is not working well (perhaps because it's called "honeypot!" We get several bot submissions daily which we would like to eliminate. I believe that the script is also being accessed by bots/spiders, bypassing the form page itself. We would like the script to be well-commented so that form fields can be added or removed in the future. The Brightdoor API guide will be provided, as well as access to Wordpress and the existing script. The new forms will be set up on a test page initially, to test function and to make certain that the entries are being saved to Brightdoor. If there is a better solution than using Gravity Form plugin to generate the form and handle field validation, etc., then I will entertain that.
