I am currently running a VPS on Debian 7 using Virtualmin as a Server Admin interface. I am looking for a freelance server administrator who will monitor/backup the server on an ongoing basis as well as be available 24/7 on an hourly basis when required. The tasks I will need assistance with: - Managing the server in terms of security and updating - Assistance when working on the server (creating new users, a sub-server, etc.) - Assistance when migrating a server - Assistance with networking issues (setting up a mail server, routing a domain, etc.) - Assistance with other/similar issues that may come up over time. You'll need to fulfill the following criteria: - be proficient in English both written and spoken - offer support via Skype (or some other IM Service) & Email - be available 24/7 (ideally you'll be a team of people) - be proficient using Linux Debian 7, Virtualmin - ideally understand Wordpress and are proficient in PHP & MySQL To be clear I'm looking to hire on an ongoing monthly basis for the backup/security aspect of the service. That's what you're bidding on here. Additionally, I am willing to pay on an hourly basis for extra services such as those mentioned above. Please state your rate per hour for service requests. shadow-branch No team yet, but my experience/skills should overcome that. I'm already monitoring a couple of servers (mainly based on VMWARE ESXi + CentOS/Fedora) I'm used to command line interface tasks rather than GUI (I just find that Virtualmin can't do all the jobs needed)
