Apache 301 URL redirect for a Magento online store website

Hi all,
We moved our website from one server to another and we need to keep existing links in place. Looks like we need a 301 redirect as:
[login to view URL]
gives a 404 error.
Our website is: [login to view URL]
We need all links on the new site to be able to resolve with and without www. in front of them.
The Apache Rewrite Module may need to be turned on.
The server is dedicated and we have full access.
