Wordpress Unique ID Item Look Up - That Links to images when Entering ID#

I am going to assign different numbers to different unique items. Example a serial, id, or pci number. Maybe a car has a unique ID of 12345678 and when someone goes to my site they can enter that ID number and it takes them to a page for that car with that ID number. it won't be cars it will be different collectibles. For example I might assign a comic book a unique ID # of 12346789 anby someone typing in that ID number it will take them to mthe page of that comic book. Don;t know how hard it is since I have some technical items in my current WordPress set up. thanks
