Word Press Website (customization)

Hi I am looking for a word press website. I have domain and content is getting ready. I am planning to build the site as authority site in the niche so I need to have a elegant look. I will have a 1500 - 2000 words article as a static front page and then categories to build my pages. The niche is air compressors. I have licensed Canvas theme and also I have license to Elegant themes so I can get any theme you recommend. I don't have idea how the site layout look like. I tried to browse many sites and could not find one that catch my attention. So I rely on your suggestions and if I like, we will proceed. The site will be later monetized with Amazon products and Google Ads. So, the theme should allow me to enable advertising later on easily. I need some with experience in building niche sites so that my job is easy to explain what I need. I need a two column layout (I guess it works best), menu on the top to show my categories. I don't want slider on the home page.(it is not suitable for my niche). I added few details about customization and will discuss with you once you show me which theme you will be using. If you use Canvas / Any theme from [login to view URL], I can provide you the theme. Other wise, if I like the theme you suggested, I will be buying the theme and you will customize the theme for me. I don't like to use free themes and also don't want to use any theme provided by developer. I want to own the theme so that support is provided by the theme developing company. So, PLEASE do not include the cost of the theme in your bid. Try your best to use Canvas or any theme from Elegant themes though it is not mandatory. Payment: I pay only after I accept your work. You should be willing make changes as per the customization I am asking (see attachment). No milestones and no payment until I accept your work. Sorry, but I have bad experience here at FL.
