Postcard Website

I require a program that can allow users to generate their own postcards using photographs they have taken from their digital camera as well as including basic text such as the recipients name, address, a brief message and who the postcard is from. The postcard is then converted ito a PDF format and stored on the webserver where it can later be downloaded and printed professionally. You will only be required to produce the barebones of the system so that it is functional. Design and interface will be handled at a later date. The system should function similarly to what is listed below; 1. The user browses through their computer and selects on of their own images that they wish to use as their postcard. 2. Once the image is selected the user uploads the image to our server in JPG format. 3. The image is resized to a predefined dimension (eg; 800x500 pixels - final dimension has not yet been decided but will supplied at start of job). 4. User then enters the details for who they want to send the postcard to e.g. name, address, message, who the card is from. 5. The text will be inserted into a template which contains the image uploaded by the user, and the text ontop of the image in a seperate layer. This can be done easily using some basic CSS. This step will serve as a preview for the user to approve their postcard. 6. If the preview is accepted by the user the page is captured into .pdf format using one of the free available html/css/php to pdf programs available on the internet (see [login to view URL]). 7. The user then completes a single page payment gateway to pay for their postcard. 8. A pdf file is then saved onto the webserver and details are stored into a MySQL database. The project will will require strong knowledge of PHP/MySQL and possibly CSS (however this is optional and should the job require it I am fully capable of handling the CSS). ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Web server to the program will be implemented on is a *nix system running the latest versions of PHP and MySQL. The program should also be compatible in the main browsers (IE6, IE7, Mozilla, Safari).
