File Input Create a first application that that accepts at least 20 (or more) test scores between 0 and 100 and stores them as "comma separated values" (csv) in a [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] file. E.g., 90,55.5,86,72,… Try for a normal distribution of test scores. Import your comma separated values (csv) data into Excel 1) Open Excel 2) In the File-Open dialog, select "Files of type" Test (*,prn, *.txt, *.csv) and open your comma delimited text file 3) In Step 1 of 3, make sure the delimited radio button is selected under "Original data type" and make sure your data is visible in the "Preview of file: …" 4) In Step 2 of 3, select only the comma check box under Delimiters. You should see black vertical lines separating your input values. 5) In Step 3 of 3, select finish 6) You should see 12 data values in your data values in the Excel spreadsheet. The first element representing the sum of 1 should be zero. Your graph should look something like the following: Generate an Excel graph 1) Highlight the row of data you imported into Excel 2) Select the Chart Wizard 3) For starters, select column chart, then select next 4) Make sure "rows" is selected for "Series in", select next 5) Enter your chart title, and label your x (sum) an y (n) axis, select next 6) Leave "As object in" selected 7) Once again highlight the values in your Excel spreadsheet and utilize the built-in Function, fx, tocalculate mean, median, and standard deviation. 8) Paste the statistics and your graph into MS Word and submit with your application write up. Your plot should look something like the following, but hopefully a more normal distribution (I used a random number generator). (attached below) Part 2 ??" File Input and Verification Write an application to input the comma separated scores from your [login to view URL] file and write/reuse statistical functions for max, min, avg, standard deviation, mode, and median. Verify your test results by using these statistical functions in Excel on your test data. Include the excel plot, excel calculations, and the calculations from your c++ application in your write-up. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
