Simple Text Parser

We have a .TXT file with a certain format which needs to be parsed and a .CSV file needs to be generated. We want to produce a CSV file with one column per field, one row per record so we can import it into Excel. This application will be used once for a filter only - don't need fancy UI - command line, web interface, etc anything will do Please note: i) I'm looking for the quick hour solution here - the quicker you can do this the better it would be. Please include estimated delivery time ii) All fields except for two contain simple string data iii) One field contains a date which needs to be parsed iv) One field contains a string that spans over mutlipe lines and has hardcoded returns - we want the returns removed and replaced with a space ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform ASP.NET, ASP, anything else that will run out of the box on a Win2003 server Note: There have been several bids for VB6 - we need to compile this code ourselves and therefore can only compile it on .NET. We will certainly accept a bid for code developed on VB6 as long as the developer is sure that it will also compile on our .NET compiler. We are not able to accept a .EXE only solution
