I’m looking for a person to help monitor a certain feature on a fantasy football website, called real-time scoring, and make sure it is working. And if not, debug the software to find the problem and fix it. Real-time scoring is where a customer of our fantasy football league management software can go to a webpage and see all the game stats of any NFL player as they happen. These stats are updated minutes after each NFL player runs a play in the NFL game in which the player is involved. For example, the webpage can list the player Jeff Garcia. If the NFL game starts in which Garcia is playing, and Garcia throws a 10-yard pass, the webpage will show Garcia with 10 passing yards about two minutes after the actual play. If Garcia then throws another pass for five yards, the webpage will show Garcia with 15 passing yards a few minutes later. The skills required are knowledge of ASP, VBScript, SQL Server 2000, Transact-SQL, and HTML. The site will need to be monitored during all the NFL football games during the year, which consists of 17 weeks from September 7th until December 29th. The games are played on Sundays from 1pm EST until around 7:30pm and again on Sunday from 8:30pm until around 11:30pm, and on Mondays from 9pm EST until around 12pm. Please do not bid on this project unless you will be available during each and every one of these listed times. You will be required to monitor a webpage that displays the real-time scoring. You will need to check this webpage about every 10 minutes to make sure it is working properly. If not, you will need to use Terminal Server to connect to our servers and try and find the problem. We will provide a diagram of how the system works and the asp code and sql server code that the system uses, so you can learn the system before the NFL season starts. Finding and fixing the problem very fast is extremely important. The real-time scoring was in use last year, so all known bugs have been removed. However, problems could arise because of a strange play happening in the NFL, bad data being provided from our stats provider, hardware problems, etc. The system is small, consisting of only a few tables and stored procedures. ## Deliverables There are thousands of users who will be using the real-time scoring feature. Any problem that resulted in a long delay between stat updates would result in many complaints, so that is why finding and solving any problem is so important. ## Platform Windows 2000
