122363 Digg Type Script Modification

I am currently using this script PHPDugg from [login to view URL] I would like that script modified to do the following things: I want people to be able to search for news from specific periods in time. User Selects Eg Period 1 : 10/10/2001 to 10/11/2001 Period 2 : 15/01/2002 to 20/01/2002 The result will be the stories that were submitted on those dates in Period 1 and Period 2 as in attached pic below Period1 | Period 2 __________________________________________________________ The Person that can make this happen will have future work on this project.
