Objective: To build an iPhone camera app that can automatically increase the lighting (in real-time), if a region in the center of the screen is poorly lit. Requirements: Make the center region configurable where we can specify the pixel or view location and radius. Location and radius may be specified in pixels or percentage of frame / view width. Demonstrates code efficiently accessing pixel data and applying a basic lighting metric to the configured region (e.g. mean of brightness as simple sum of 3 colour channels). Switching of torch ON for a lower configurable threshold, and switching of torch OFF for a higher configurable threshold - this is to prevent chatter or oscillation of the torch state due to subtle brightness changes or the torch itself. Preferred Device: iPhone 6s, or 7, or 8
