sub band coding in matlab

i am design a subband filter in matlab with the following requirements 1. Implement a 4-bit/sample basic subband coder using the given filter coefficients in MATLAB using thegiven data file and determine the SNR for all combinations of bit allocations. To do this, set the bit allocation of the low-pass quantise to b1and high-pass quantiser to b2= 8−b2, and then vary the value of b1from 1 to 7. 2. Graph the SNR versus number of bits to determine the best bit allo cation that gives the highest SNR (5/3). 3. Compare this SNR with a 4-bit/sample scalar quantiser so that you can appreciate the benefits of the subband coder at the same bitrate some requirments to add to the code above Multi-band subband coding Different QMF coefficients: more taps the code must be done with loops and not using toolboxs in matlab.
