PLEASE READ THE PROJECT DETAILS BEFORE BIDDING. The project involves 6 GPS equipped devices that transmits their own GPS locations to a central receiver via RF (25Km Range). These hardware devices are ready with us, the task is to plot a trace of all 6 devices on google maps (satellite view). These maps should be offline and user should be able to load and save maps when internet is available. The data would be available to PC via COM port (Serial port) in the following format: A,lat:22.451503,long:75.520617 B,lat:22.454322,long:75.525423 C,lat:22.451845,long:75.522354 D,lat:22.457462,long:75.521278 E,lat:22.455678,long:75.523298 F,lat:22.454786,long:75.521032 etc.. The software should plot location data received from different transmitters in different colors on a single [login to view URL] plotting the values have to be converted using a simple mathematical formula for accuracy(we will provide this formula at later stage) The software should have option to take screen shot of generated map and save it. Layout of desired software is attached. Other details will be disclosed at later stage or over chat. It should be a standalone windows application. Compatible with windows 7 and higher. The project is programming language independent, programmer can code in any language.

Have you worked on any project related to hardware interfacing over COM port? If yes, share the details. Yes. Worked on various projects where more than 6 serial ports were involved. Developed applications in C#, Visual Basic and MCU firmware also to handle multiple serial ports without loosing a single byte of data. Proposal: Hi Understood your requirement. I could have also placed the least bid cost in order to get the project but the required efforts to build the quality software is more important. Specifically if serial port handling is involved it is reqd that the developer should be aware of protocol at root level. I am in embedded domain for more than 10 yrs and developed many applications involving serial port and infact multiple serial ports. So far as Google map is concerned, I have a prior experience of developing such application for tracking system project.
