The goal of this job is to get familiar with a IntelliJ IDEA plugin written in Java 11 (some Kotlin and go knowledge is useful too). The plugin provides support for our [login to view URL] programming language and more ongoing work can be negotiated.
Smart Auto Completion should encompass Type discovery, displaying all available members and methods and auto completion hints in general for method parameters, expressions and statements (e.g. for loops). Most of this is already functional, but there is always more to do. We only expect the basics to be working for now (simply Type discovery, displaying all methods when typing . and displaying types when methods require arguments). Any good IDE (IntelliJ, Visual Studio, etc.) should give you an idea how this should work and look, but we will define the features very clearly in the source code given to work on this project.
The AST tree generation, intermediate language, LLVM specification and optimized output will all be given, experience in this area is highly welcome.
