Both sites basically allow clients(commercial and non-commercial) to post jobs on them. We then get contractors to present their quotes to the clients. The client then chooses. Our revenue comes from the monthly membership of the contractors.
The most important step is that I want to bring in web traffic to my website, [login to view URL] using HTML5, aweber, tweetadder, tweetbeep, hootsuite, etc to monitor keywords of potential customers on the web(on blogs, twitter, fb, etc) and then send automated replies to them. So create twitter, pinterest following, keyword monitoring, etc. If this is your specialty, I would like to talk to you. I have more details, but this is the general idea.
