Export a movie from iMovie

I have an iMovie project that keeps crashing my Mac whenever i export. I need someone to export the project into mp4 format that i can play on my computer. I will provide the project files, no editing should be required. But potentially to solve the issue, one may be forced to copy all the clips into a new project, while keeping the captions, clip timing etc the same.
