Zoomed html checkboxes appearing above a fixed div

I have a web page with a fixed div header. Lower on the page is a form with checkboxes. For some reason the checkboxes appear above the fixed div header while scrolling. Currently the checkboxes are in a static div. If I remove the static positioning, the checkboxes no longer appear above the fixed header while scrolling, but they are also no longer checkable. This problem started when I applied "transform: scale(1.2)" to the checkboxes (and I do need them to be enlarged). I've attached a barebones example of the page. Hoping for a simple solution... If you know of one, please bid! (and be ready to provide solution) Thanks for reading

Just give the fixed div a high z-index property: <div id="headerdiv" style="position:fixed;z-index:5;....> and it will work fine ;) Cheers!
